When you register your pet, the photo you upload is processed by our AI system to create a unique digital signature (embedding) used solely for identification. This embedding allows shelters, rescues, and owners to verify and match pets without storing or exposing personal information. The original image is not used for AI training and is deleted once processing is complete, unless you choose to save it in your account.

Some registry data may also be written to the blockchain to establish proof of registration or ownership. This information contains no personal identifiers and exists only as a public verification record, ensuring transparency without compromising privacy.

We do not sell, trade, or use your personal information or pet data for any unrelated purposes. All use of data aligns with Anymal’s commitment to privacy, user control, and ethical AI.

How We Use Your Data

Data Ownership

Data recorded on the blockchain is owned and controlled by the account holder who registered it. AIPETREGISTRY.ORG and SN2020, Inc. (DBA Anymal) do not claim ownership over any blockchain-stored data, including pet records, identifiers, or metadata. Our role is to provide the platform and tools that allow you to register, manage, and verify your pet’s information securely. Because blockchain data is decentralized, you maintain full ownership and control over the records linked to your account.

Biometric and Visual Data

When you upload a pet photo to register its Face ID, our system creates a unique digital representation (embedding) of that image. This data is used solely for identification purposes and does not store the original image after processing unless explicitly authorized. All visual data is encrypted and stored in compliance with Anymal’s data standards, ensuring it cannot be reverse-engineered to recreate the original photo.

Your Rights

We believe in empowering users to manage their personal data. You have the right to request access, update inaccuracies, or delete your information when necessary. If you no longer wish to receive updates or want to manage your cookie preferences, you can do so easily. Our commitment is to give you full control over your data while ensuring you remain informed about how it’s used.

Data Protection

We employ state-of-the-art measures to protect the information entrusted to us. From encryption to secure servers, your data is stored and managed with industry-leading security protocols. We also conduct regular system checks to prevent unauthorized access. While no system is completely immune to threats, our continuous efforts minimize risks and provide you with a safe online environment.

Data Storage and Retention

Visual data and identifiers are stored only as long as needed to provide registry functionality. You can request deletion of your pet’s Face ID record at any time. Once deleted, both the original image and its derived embedding are permanently removed from our systems. On-chain records, however, remain immutable as part of the blockchain’s public ledger.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
